PlasmaFree
Our protocol software provides a fully-automated method to separate cellular product into its components in combination with our Sepax Cell Separation System. It enables a reproducible and user independent procedure.
PlasmaFree is a protocol designed for routine processing of umbilical cord blood (UCB) to remove only plasma while conserving the nucleated cell component (buffy coat) fraction enriched in hematopoietic stem cells together with the red blood cells. This protocol does not require the addition of any sedimentation agent.
